I love this argument. Unstated implicit assumption: escalating penalties are unjustifiable.
Refutation: By repeatedly violating the rules in "minor" ways, you're wasting the judge's time. You take up valuable docket space that could be consumed in the actual administration of justice. This is costly to the system and the judge.
Eventually the judge gets tired of seeing you and gives you a max penalty. You complain that the penalty doesn't fit the crime. Your real crime is interfering with the administration of justice. That's a serious offense in any justice system, and merits more than a slap on the wrist.
EDIT: Wonder why I chose to write this one in the persona of HK-47. Without saying anything about meatbags. Odd.

Then I suppose my 2 week suspension for "RMT" was "justified" when all it was was me xferring gold between my account and my gf's? I guess my girlfriend getting 2 weeks for simply helping me xfer was justified? And the fact that they perma banned her account because she was "related to me" was also justified (it was eventually lifted 'cause they realized how stupid it was to do that to someone who was/is completely innocent)? No... Not one bit.

Last post I'm going to make because I don't want to hijack further.
No, the instances you specify aren't justified. But they probably happened because you'd already drawn attention to yourself. In the most recent post, you're Terrell Owens complaining about how anything he says to the media gets blown out of proportion. Just reaping what you sowed, in both cases.
You're not the only person things like you describe in this post have happened to. You should be paranoid about why you in particular were targeted, given that you created the opportunity with the transfer. To put it bluntly, you were a desirable target to make go away, and easy to justify a ban for when you came up on the radar screen.
You're free to have the last word here. If you want to discuss in more detail, PM me.

I didn't manage to get a screen of them blocking my credit card but I DO have one of it showing my iP blocked.
Enjoy.

Wrong. An easy example of that is not the case is 'cause people have 20+ accounts. Secondly, I know what I was perma'd for and it has nothing to do with me having many accounts. It was because of "inappropriate language in local chat" when I was at my own Guild Hall (they were watching my chat logs and trying to find a reason to perma me).

A week before ANet announced the account-wide merger of the ID and Treasure Hunter titles, I deleted my original monk, who had been my main farming character. Probably lost around 1,000 chests and 3,000 IDs. Moot point now as I'm long finished with those two titles, but it probably set me back a couple of weeks.

You kind of answered your own question. In WOW you pay for that feature same in EQ as well as I lost 8 bags of items in a trade and got disconnected and when I came back they were all gone. Took me awhile but EQ did give every single item back. Me & a GM sat in the bank of Freeport and she created each and every item bags included and gave back to me. You don't pay for that feature in GW so that is why you don't get anything back.

Woa guys and I was thinking I had lost a lot. Some harsh stuff out there!
Last year I decided I needed to stop gaming for a while because I was close to graduating in university...
So I went ahead with the dumb idea of deleting my GW characters and giving away all my items to friends (I don't regret the giveaways, but the character deletions yes).
Lost Ele with 15+ titles, Monk with 5+, Obsidian Set, Chaos Gloves, Vabbian Set, Elite Canthan set, tons of Runes and weapons.
6 months later (graduated! ) I decided to return and had to restart from zero.
It's been 4 months only and the rebuild of my Monk has been great fun. 10+ titles already, have all items I wanted to wear and not having farmed or grinded anything. The new books and Zquests do help a lot, man I sure love this game, to anyone out there don't be discouraged to restart from scratch.
